Born in Charleston, West Virginia, at the tender age of 8 years old God called me into an intimate relationship with Him and filled me with His precious Holy Spirit. Through many hard times, my Father (God) provided for us as my Mom endured an abusive marriage, while trying to take care of her three daughters. The enemy had literally tried to kill me before birth; my Mom had two miscarriages before my birth and one afterwards. That revelation alone let's me know that God had a plan for me to be here on this earth.

I have gone through life as most with ups and downs, but God has been faithful to me. As a child, I was greatly affected by the abuse within our home. When my father would beat my mom nearly to the point of death, the only way I knew to control the situation was to direct everyone’s attention to me. I would go to a corner in the room and scream as loud as I could in an attempt to divert my father’s focus. Well, that became such a habit that there were times when I wanted to stop screaming, but I couldn't because I was on the edge of a nervous breakdown at the age of 7 years old. Until one evening I attended a youth revival with my cousin, and God chose to save me and fill me with His Holy Spirit. No longer did I have to use myself as an escape goat, but I found that I had power through the Holy Spirit to speak some things into the realm of the Spirit and cause the enemy to stop dead in his tracks. I found out that there is a name above all names, the name of Jesus. I found he had died for me, that I may have life and life more abundantly. Now don't get it wrong, the enemy until this very day has tried to take me out before my time, but just as 1John 4:4 says; "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world." God lives on the inside of me and I have chosen to let His light shine through me that I may be used by Him, for Him and with purpose.

THE MASTER’S MIME (GOD’S SILENT WITNESS)

I am Sherry Brown, The Master's Mime, and God has anointed and appointed me for such a time as this to minister to the world through the gift of Mime. My mime ministry began 2001, in Georgia, under the leadership of Ms. Kendra Butler. I remember at one of our rehearsals she expressed that we all had the potential to lead the Mime Ministry and encouraged us to develop our own routines. God began to minister to me and give me movements that would perfectly express the songs. During rehearsal I would feel His presence which brought me confirmation of His approval. So, I began my journey to minister to song lyrics through the movements of my body and the expressions on my face without uttering a sound.

Since 2001, I have been blessed to minister in Mime on several occasions at various ministries and special events such as: Xtreme Youth fest in St. Maarten, Millennial Reign Church, Pittsburgh, PA, under the leadership of Apostle Karl Edmonds and Pastor Keith Edmonds also known as K&K Mime, TBN Atlanta in Decatur, GA, and Cruisin' for Christ II, III and IV, with founder Kendra Norman-Bellamy, on Carnival’s Cruise ship just to name a few.  Also, I’ve been privileged to mime at the following Georgia Department of Correction Facilities: Lee-Arrendale-Women’s State Prison, Baldwin-Men’s State Prison, Dooly-Men’s State Prison and Men’s State Prison in Milledgeville, Georgia.

In 2003, I joined the Mime Ministry at Word of Faith Family Cathedral in Georgia, where I served as Assistant Director.

"THE PURPOSE" of gospel mime is to demonstrate the love and gospel of Jesus Christ in a unique and creative way. Spiritual truths and principles are sometimes easier to portray through visual images than through words. Jesus often used actions and visual stories to communicate the gospel of His Father to the people. Mime is the expression or communication of an emotion, a thought, an idea or a story through body gestures and facial expressions. Mime is a powerful tool that God is using to bind the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and open the prison to them that are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and to comfort all that mourn, that He may be glorified.

THE VISION is to use the creative ability that God has given me to set an atmosphere that will allow my Father to move by His Spirit, bringing about deliverance in the lives of His people. I no longer have to scream to changes lives. I believe through the powerful, yet silent witness of the Holy Spirit, lives will be transformed..
